Website Posting Requirements
A district - if they have a website - is required to post the following information. The requirements vary widely as well as the locations where they appear. This page provides a quick resource for locating the information.
Employment Opportunities and Employment Policies (Texas Education Code § 11.163)

Physical Activity Policies (Texas Education Code § 28.004)
A school district is required to post on an internet website maintained by the
district their physical activity policies.

Electronic Course Information (Texas Education Code § 29.909)
Districts are required to post Electronic course information (if they offer
them), along with other posting requirements related to the program.

Accountability Posting (Texas Education Code § 39.252)
Districts are required by the 10th day of the new school year to have posted
on the district website the following items: Campus Report Card, District
Performance Report, and Accountability rating and Accreditation Status of
district, including a definition of each rating and status.

District Budget Summary (Texas Education Code § 44.0041 and House Bill 3)
Districts are required to post the proposed district budget summary which
will remain on the website for three years after adoption.

District School Board Meetings (Government Code § 551.056)
Districts are required to post notice of meeting with agendas.

Test Administration Dates (HB 1844)
Districts are required to post Test Administration Dates including PSAT,
ACT, and other college advanced placements tests for home schooled
students information.

State Testing Dates
Immunizations, Clinics, and Exemptions (HB 1059)
Districts are required to post in English and Spanish required immunizations
and vaccines required or recommended by the Texas Department of State
Health Services, health clinics in the district that offer influenza vaccine and
a link to the Department of state Health Services Internet website providing
procedures for claiming an exemption from requirements in Section 38.001,
Education Code.

Maintenance and Operations (M&O) tax rate (Tax Code 26.05b)
Districts are required to post the M&O tax rate if it exceeds the effective rate.

Districts are required to post notification for claimed copyright infringement.

Districts are required to post Metered amount of electricity, water, or natural
gas consumed and the aggregate costs for these utilities.

Districts are required to post a link to the portion of the Comptroller's
website that contains information related to that district if the district
participates in tax abatement agreements.
